Work highlights

Retained by the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers (“CACE”) to intervene as a friend of the court in Marchetta v. Petros 724 Inc., a Quebec Court of Appeal case addressing whether the Quebec Labour Standards Act applies to employers with no physical presence in the province.
Advised FHC Enterprises Ltd. on an employment liability issue involving over 2,000 accumulated vacation days and hundreds of thousands of dollars in unintended vacation pay exposure.
