Elke Napokoj has been a partner at bpv Huegel since 2007 and co-head of the Corporate/M&A practice group since 2010. She specializes in national and international M&A transactions, corporate law, restructurings, and private equity. She advises strategic and financial investors across a range of industry sectors and has over 20 years of professional experience in corporate transactions, particularly in the pharmaceutical and life sciences, banking, insurance, energy and industrial sectors.

Education

Elke Napokoj graduated from the University of Vienna in 1999 (Dr.iur.) and holds an LL.M. in banking and financial law from King’s College London. In 2018, Elke Napokoj completed an Excellence Program for Supervisory Boards at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. Elke is a lecturer at the Danube University Krems and at the University of Vienna, and regularly gives lectures at other universities, institutions, congresses and seminars.
