Acted for Nine/Fairfax and journalist Joe Aston in their defence of a securities class action in the Supreme Court of Queensland brought for at least $445m plus additional exemplary damages in relation to claims arising out of the collapse of Blue Sky Alternative Investment Fund.
Acted on behalf of the Kingdom of Spain to defend an application to enforce a €290,6000,000 investment arbitration award (plus costs of US$4,279,400.67 plus claimed interest) rendered against Spain in an arbitration administered by ICSID.
