As employers are encouraging, and in some instances requiring, employees to work remotely over the coming weeks, it is important for everyone to be careful with their email habits and cyber hygiene. Amongst all of the helpful emails and links informing you of the news and best practices to deal with COVID-19, you will also likely receive malicious emails from cybercriminals looking to exploit your fears with targeted malware. 1. Use strong passwords and, if possible, two-factor authentication.
  2. Avoid pop-ups and unknown emails.
