Management, a synopsis is noted below.
Law firms don't have a big data problem as much as they are
challenged with what a big data world means to them: i.e., their
clients' big data issues.
While firms are unlikely to reach a scale/capacity issue like
government or large companies, they will be expected to offer sound
advice on data security, compliance and risk aversion when it comes
to big data.
Some U.S. firms, such as Fox Rothschild, have taken the first
step, opening a separate practice group to focus on offering
compliance and regulatory data management advice.
