Although the pandemic led to a slowdown for many, not so for the
California legislature.
During the 2019-2020 session, the legislature advanced hundreds
of bills, many of which affect employers. Some of the noteworthy
developments have already been covered on this blog, here and here.
Earlier this week, we presented a live webinar discussing
these new laws, some of which took effect as soon as they were
