Steny Hoyer (D-MD) said on Wednesday that the House will
vote on the MORE Act today. The legislation removes cannabis
from the federal Controlled Substances Act. Although most marijuana
activists support passage, some
fear the bill adds new taxes on the industry. Since the
likelihood of the Senate even considering this measure is nil,
those who oppose the legislation can breathe easy.
