After what seems an age (in fact 7 weeks since it passed from the Lords to the Commons), a date has now been announced for the Second Reading debate on the Public Bodies Bill in the Commons. This will take place the week after next on Tuesday 12 July.

For those who want to remind themselves what the Bill is all about and how it has changed, the House of Commons Library has produced a pretty comprehensive Research Paper (11/450) published on 14 June (see here).
