Council confirms MiFID 2 delay: The Council has formally adopted the Directive and Regulation delaying by one year the application of the MiFID 2 package. It has also agreed not to object to the MiFID 2 Directive delegated legislation and started to approve RTS.

ESMA publishes inside information disclosure opinion: ESMA has published its opinion on disclosure of inside information under EU MAR, in which it disagrees with the Commission's stance on the equivalence of REMIT compliance.
