A regulation regarding the zoning peace was adopted on 11 May 2018. However, it was determined that the Bosphorus coast line and some parts of the preview area defined by the Bosphorus Code No. 2960 were not entitled to benefit from the zoning peace.
In accordance with Article 4 of the Law Regarding Amendments to the Highway Traffic Code No. 7159 and Other Laws published in the Official Gazette on 28 December 2018, the owners of the real estate, which are located at the Bosphorus coast line and preview areas whose borders are re-defined by the Bosphorus Code No. 2960, may also apply for zoning peace until 31 December 2018.
As a result of these amendments, some areas of Sarıyer, Beykoz and Üsküdar were also included within this scope.
