On January 25, 2023, the Financial Services Commission of Korea ("FSC") announced certain proposed measures to promote foreign investment in the Korean capital markets.

I would like to shortly introduce some background facts of the Supreme Court of the United States in 1946.

On 14 January 2021, the FSC announced a series of measures to improve corporate disclosure rules in South Korea, including initiatives to promote environmental, social and governance and responsible investing.

In January 2018, the Korea Financial Intelligence Unit ("KoFIU") and the Financial Supervisory Service ("FSS") conducted a joint inspection of six Korean banks that provide trading accounts for cryptocurrency exchanges.

The FSS of Korea published the draft ‘Guidelines on Margin Requirements for Non-Centrally Cleared OTC Derivatives Transactions' on 14 December 2016 and invited comments to be submitted by 2 January 2017.

On June 28, 2016, the Financial Services Commission ("FSC") proposed the enactment of the "Act on the Financial Consumer Protection Framework" (the "Proposed Enactment").
