Morocco was one of several countries that attended the launch of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) initiative, the Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Interchange (AIII).

The Moroccan central bank is presently working on a cryptocurrency regulation framework bill and according to the bank's governor, Abdellatif Jouahri, this is set to be introduced soon.

Electronic signature, when made under certain conditions, has in Moroccan law the same legal value as the handwritten one.
