("DLT") solutions being increasingly
used across several industries, such as finance, energy,
healthcare, logistics and supply chain. Moreover, Non Fungible
Tokens ("NFTs") continue to be very
popular in the Portuguese sports, art, gaming and entertainment
industries.
In the financial services sector, decentralized finance
("DeFi") solutions are being designed to
allow users to perform financial transactions – like lending,
banking and investing – using DLT, allowing for faster,
cheaper and more secure transactions without the intervention of an
intermediary.
