Discussion paper at the 2014 NBA Annual Conference of Section on Legal Practice

Partnerships are more than just legal contracts between persons carrying on a joint business venture. They are tailored business relationships based on certain shared values that result in a performance greater than the individual partners would have achieved in the absence of a partnership. Our country senior partner highlights this fact in this presentation to the 8th Annual General Conference of the Nigeria Bar Association's Section on Legal Practice (NBA-SLP).

The presentation discusses the various traditional partnership models, emerging trends in partnership and trends in legal practice partnership highlighting how the legal practice in Nigeria can immensely benefit as has the Accountants, in forging robust partnerships which will assist them in expanding, tapping into new markets and creating jobs for new lawyers.
