The newest release of Microsoft's server operating system, Windows Server 2016, hit general availability on September 26^th, along with System Center 2016. We've been hearing about new and improved things coming in Windows Server 2016 for months, so you most probably know about the container support and the improved security and networking tools. Maybe you've even used some of them in the technology preview versions.
