discussed the outlook for structured finance in the aviation sector
in light of the global pandemic.
One central theme of the discussion was how financial distress
among airlines is impacting aircraft lessors, creating
opportunities for investors.
Although there has been relatively little M&A in aviation
finance over the past few years, with the aviation sector now in
distress, consolidation is expected among aircraft
lessors. This will create opportunity for
the different types of investors that are looking at the
space.
