Ravenscroft has become the world's first financial services
provider to register its image with Guernsey's Intellectual
Property Office.
The Guernsey stockbroking and investment management company has
registered its name and logo which will protect it from being
misused.
The move follows the company's rebrand last year after it
became the only Channel Islands based independent stockbroker and
investment manager.
"Guernsey is a world leader in image rights and the
island's Intellectual Property Office has attracted interest
from around the globe. Ravenscroft's reputation is growing all
of the time and so we felt the time was right to protect our image
and demonstrate our support of an innovative industry sector. We
are also extremely keen wherever appropriate to support local
initiatives such as this one which was bought to us by Romanillos
& Cook," said chief executive Jon Ravenscroft.
