Czech Republic: Labor market testing process to be
relaxed for employee card applicants

As of July 1, 2024, a labor market test will no longer be
required for employee card applicants.
Vacancies will still need to be posted on the government's
online platform, but sponsors and applicants will no longer have to
wait 10 to 30 days (depending on factors such as the nature of the
job and the employee's experience level) before they can
proceed to the next stage of the Employee Card application
process.
These changes are intended to expedite the hiring of foreign
talent and ensure that employers can address potential internal
labor shortages more quickly.
