Actualización del Capítulo 20-7 de la Recopilación Actualizada de Normas de la SBIF

Desde hace algún tiempo, la Superintendencia de Bancos e Instituciones Financieras ha impulsado una agenda que busca adecuar la normativa que regula a las instituciones bajo su vigilancia con los avances de la tecnología y los riesgos asociados a su uso. Esta agenda tuvo un primer hito importante en la Carta Circular N° 1 del año 2016 sobre Seguridad de la Información y Ciberseguridad, al exigir al directorio y a la alta gerencia de las entidades mantenerse informadas respecto a los riesgos asociados a la ciberseguridad y resolver respecto a las medidas de mitigación pertinentes.

Recientemente, esta agenda asociada a la mitigación del riesgo tecnológico se ha visto complementada por la modificación del Capítulo 20-7 de la Recopilación Actualizada Normas sobre Externalización de Servicios, que estableció lineamientos mínimos para la externalización, por parte de las entidades
