Today (September 11, 2019), President Trump announced a short
reprieve for goods on Lists 1, 2 and 3. The 301 tariff on those
Chinese goods will still rise from 25% to 30%, but now instead of
that happening on October 1, 2019, the effective date will be
October 15, 2019. The stated reason for the delay is October 1,
2019 is the 70th Anniversary of the People's Republic of
China.
