Mark Prybylski is chief legal counsel of Argos USA, the US arm of cement producer Argos and a subsidiary of Colombian conglomerate Grupo Argos. Prybylski is described as ‘an exceptionally knowledgeable GC’ by one nominator, who adds: ‘Argos is tremendously fortunate to have a general counsel of Prybylski’s calibre, and the difference he makes is clear’. As US general counsel, Prybylski has been involved in a number of Argos’ prominent North American acquisitions – including its 2016 acquisition of HeidelbergCement’s production plant in West Virginia and related terminals in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New York for $600m.
