Motorola Solutions, Inc. (MSI) was created in 2011, following the spinoff of its mobile phone division (Motorola Mobility). John Guzman first joined the company in 2013, initially as a contract and compliance specialist based out of the Miami and Fort Lauderdale offices. As he gained knowledge of the company’s operations he has acquired more responsibility – both operationally and geographically. In his current role as legal counsel for the Latin America and Caribbean, he oversees internal legal support for commercial, corporate, procurement, litigation, compliance and ethics, as well as managing external counsel. His dedication to improving the skills of his team, and encouraging continuous learning, means that the MSI team is of exceptional quality. Guzman is also assistant secretary, a member of the data privacy and antitrust committee, and a member of the senior leadership team in Latin America and the Caribbean.
