Chief legal and compliance officer, Guilherme (Bill) Carvalho leads the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football’s (CONCACAF) legal team to oversee, manage and negotiate commercial contracts of sponsorship, broadcasting and production agreements to media and branding services. The legal team specialises in advertising, licensing, broadcasting rights, insurance policies, entertainment and sports law and financial services agreements whilst also handling the daily operations of the Confederation’s compliance and integrity programmes. The legal team work closely with all departments of the business in order to align on all the ongoing operations, frequently liaising with stakeholders and the finance, competition and commercialisation departments.
