The expert in-house legal team provides legal support to Caterpillar Financial’s regional offices in Latin America (Mexico, Brazil and Chile) and coordinates with local teams within those regional offices. The team manages the legal matters related to leasing, credit, purchasing and other financial applications of CAT equipment. In December 2018, the team expertly managed the firm’s response to an attempted fraudulent lender in Brazil, posing as Banco Caterpillar.
