The Swissport International legal team is led by the seasoned general counsel and company secretary Thomas Gross who amasses over 10 years of experience in the transport industry. The legal team do an excellent job in implementing robust internal regulations and processes to prevent the company from incurring major legal, liability and reputational exposure. They have been responsible for rolling out a risk mitigation issue tracker, enabling the team to have quarterly reports to the executive board on identified risk mitigation actions, tracking and several internal standardisations. This has allowed the legal function to retain a close relationship with the CEO and executive members while substantially adding value to the business.
