Can you sum up the team culture or ethos, and give us a breakdown of what makes your legal team function so well?

Our team holds strongly to our company’s core values of teamwork, trust and respect and collaboration. The importance of working as one team, while respecting each member’s diverse views, cultures, and backgrounds, is what makes us strong. Our team members are always encouraged to communicate across different teams and regions, and most importantly to share their knowledge with each other. Why reinvent the wheel or start from ground zero, when your team members may have useful information or experiences to share which you can leverage on? We consistently drive the message of helping within the team – a more experienced member can always chip in with guidance and help for a teammate with less experience, even when this may not be their area of responsibility. Every team member is encouraged to share when something is not working well, and they know that their views will be heard. All of these factors help to build trust within the team, and foster a collaborative environment where each team member can be at their best. Work aside, we also take time to celebrate successes and to show appreciation for the work that each of us do – having fun together is also a great way to strengthen our bond!
