Australian Securities Exchange listed engineering company WorleyParsons is serviced by a legal team consisting of lawyers, contracts administrators and two administrative staff reporting to the general counsel in its operations across Australia, Oceania and New Zealand. Recently appointed in this role of Australia and New Zealand general counsel in 2017 is Marc Scardilli, who leads a team of lawyers that is charged with delivering a broad range of domestic and international commercial legal services and support across the WorleyParsons business. Such support is contingent on precise and timely legal advice pertaining to all of the company’s business units, which extend to projects concerning the all of WorleyParsons engineering, consulting, advisory and maintenance operations in the aforementioned regions. Encompassing a variety of legal practice areas, lawyers within the company are experts in engaging with matters including, but not limited to, financial law, acquisitions and divestments.
