Carolyn Scobie started at QBE, the multinational insurance and reinsurance giant, as group general secretary and group company secretary in January 2016 having joined from global property group Goodman, having being employed there for 17 years. While at Goodman she was responsible for running a legal team across 16 countries and multiple functional areas. Scobie has extensive in-house and private practice legal experience in corporate law, compliance, litigation and regulation all across multiple jurisdictions.
QBE is one of the world’s biggest insurance and reinsurance companies, listed on the Australian Securities Exchange and headquartered in Sydney with over 14,000 employees in 36 countries.
