What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

There are many cases or matters in which we are involved as a legal team, but I would like to highlight the work we are doing with producers for the use of green fertilisers, which are nitrate-based mineral fertilisers with exactly the same chemical and physical composition as fertilisers produced with fossil fuels (natural gas, coal, oil), but with a much smaller carbon footprint because they are produced with renewable electricity (hydro, wind, solar). As a legal team, we are providing permanent support to the different departments of the company to implement the agreements with the producers in order to continue our mission to feed the world responsibly and protect our planet.

Do you use any “legal tech” products, and do you find them a helpful management device?

Yes, this year we have contracted the services of a contract management platform called Webdox. In summary, this platform allows us to automate and optimise the entire contracts lifecycle with different features, including contracts request, contracts drafting, validation, e-signature, contracts execution, contracts change management, contracts repository, and reports. The important thing about this tool is that allows us, as a legal team, to be more efficient and have greater proximity to our internal clients who ask us for support either for the drafting or review of a contract.
