What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

We have recently been involved in key negotiations to license our products in emerging markets. Our focus is to assist the business in closing deals and achieving the company’s goals. In addition, we conducted a merger between the companies of our group to simplify the corporate structure and advised in the most significant financing transactions.

Do you use any “legal tech” products and do you find them a helpful management device?

As the board’s corporate secretary, I use Diligent to organise and conduct the board meetings. We also use Docusign for electronic signatures. I found both products very helpful, efficient and secure.

How much influence do you, as a general counsel, have on the diversity and inclusions policies of your organisation?

As the company’s compliance officer, I had the chance to participate, from the very beginning, in our diversity and inclusion policies. I strongly believe that having a diverse team enables us to have richer exchanges and make wiser decisions. Diversity is a key value in Biosidus.
