Lindsay Macdonald, Partner, is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Medical Negligence Law.  She has specialised exclusively in this area of law since joining Drummond Miller LLP in September 2019.

Lindsay has extensive experience in complex and high-value medical negligence claims representing individuals and families in claims arising from surgical errors, missed and delayed diagnoses, birth damage and fatalities. She is regularly instructed by other firms to provide court agency services in complex medical negligence cases requiring specialist litigation expertise.

Lindsay has achieved successful settlements in numerous complex cases throughout her career, frequently securing high six-figure awards for her clients. She has also secured admissions of liability in a number of significant cases, including complex birth damage claims, together with substantial interim payments where appropriate.

Lindsay combines specialist legal knowledge with a pragmatic approach to litigation. She is experienced in cases where liability is disputed and where the medical and legal issues are particularly complex.
