Sarah Jack is dual qualified in English and Scots law. She graduated in Law with French and completed her traineeship  in the City. She was awarded a Masters in Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science and has since then specialised in immigration, nationality and asylum law in the voluntary and private sector working in London and Edinburgh. She joined Drummond Miller in 2011 where she advises in particular on family migration and domestic abuse, European law and nationality law.

Sarah is regularly asked to speak at conferences relating to immigration law, in particular in relation to protection for migrants suffering domestic abuse and eligibility to access public funds. In 2023 she was appointed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council to act as a Legal Assessor on its Fitness to Practice Panel and in 2021 was appointed by the Law Society of Scotland to act as a peer reviewer.
