Rob Andrews

Rob Andrews

Head of Finance and Operations Rob has an extensive background within Chambers, having joined in July 2024 as the Head of Finance and Operations. His career spans over two decades, starting in 2001. Throughout his tenure, Rob has held various roles within Chambers, starting from Junior Clerk all the way up to First Junior, Fees Clerk, and Chambers Administrator. This diverse experience equips him well for his current responsibility of ensuring the smooth functioning of Chambers’ finances.

Dan joined Chambers (1 Mitre Court as was) in 1998 and, along with his colleagues, is responsible for managing and developing members’ practices.
Kathryn Langmead

Kathryn Langmead

Front of House Kathryn joined Chambers in August 2021 and is responsible for end-to-end Client experience. She previously worked in Learning and development and HR. She is very proud to be the winner of the Legal 500 awards “Front of House 2024 Team of the Year” category.
Michael Lay

Michael Lay

Mike’s career started at the Law Society in 1988, he went on to Clerk at 4-5 Grays Inn Square and Family Law set 4PB. He joined 1 Hare Court (Then 1 Mitre Court Buildings) in 2001 as First Junior Clerk. Together with his colleagues, he is responsible for the management and development of the Barristers practices. His day-to-day responsibilities include negotiating and billing the Barristers work, assigning cases and diary management, as well as assisting with other aspects of Chambers Management.
Steve McCrone

Steve McCrone

Steve the overall responsibility for the strategic management, development and marketing of all members of chambers. In addition to the day to day clerking duties, he also provides clients with advice on suitable counsel with regard to seniority, suitability and fees at all levels. Under Steve’s leadership Chambers has received a number of awards and the clerking services provided are regularly recognised by the two principal legal directories, Chambers and Partners and Legal 500.
Harriette O\'Kane

Harriette O\'Kane

Harriette joined 1 Hare Court in April 2024 after studying Psychology at the University of Kent. Prior to becoming a clerk, she worked as a Learning Support Assistant, aiding children with Special Educational Needs. She is responsible for assisting the clerks’ room with the day-to-day management of members’ diaries, as well as helping with the overall efficiency of chambers.
Charlie Parish

Charlie Parish

Charlie began clerking more than a decade ago, and has previously worked in some prominent band one chambers’, including a commercial law chambers and a civil law chambers before settling into family law at another London based set. Charlie then joined 1 Hare Court in November 2020, and quickly became an essential member of the clerking team. Charlie’s day to day responsibilities include diary and practice management, fee negotiation and fixing hearings for all levels of counsel, as well as overseeing junior members of the clerking team and answering telephone and email enquiries.
Josh Patel

Josh Patel

Josh joined our team in early 2025 after starting his clerking career in 2018 at another leading Family Law set. He plays a key role in chambers, managing diaries and negotiating fees across all levels of seniority.
Ben Saunders

Ben Saunders

Ben joined Chambers in the summer of 2023 after completing his Marketing degree at Nottingham Trent University. He helps assist with day-to-day duties for Barristers, as well as dealing with diary management and new enquiries.
