Practice Areas: Crime – Serious organized crime, homicide, serious injury to children, motor homicide, drugs and firearms, and serious violence. Lisa has developed detailed knowledge of complex pathology and medical evidence in cases of child homicide and serious injury.

Lisa has a busy, diverse practice across England. She is well-known for presenting cases clearly and compellingly, with forensic precision. Lisa is tenacious in court, often able to alter judicial opinion. She is a persuasive jury advocate, commended for guiding vulnerable witnesses through evidence in chief and cross-examining them without alienating the jury.

With exceptional client care skills, Lisa builds trust easily, enabling clients to share concerns and participate effectively in the trial process. Her clients know they receive her full attention and best skills at all times.

Lisa has a particular interest in cases involving mental health issues and has expertise in neurodiverse conditions and assisting those with protected characteristics.

Lisa is an advocacy trainer for pupils and new practitioners on the Midland Circuit and Co-Chair of the Midland Circuit Social Mobility Committee. She is heavily engaged in the Midland Circuit ED Committee and Women’s Forum and works with local universities to encourage pathways to the Bar. Lisa also serves as an Independent Legal Chair for Paddle UK.
