James Hankinson specialises in all area of Family Law, private law children, financial remedy and Family Law Act matters.

Prior to undertaking pupillage James acted as “stagiaire” (legal trainee) to the Advocate General of the United Kingdom at the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg prior to Brexit, as well as the judicial assistant to the Right Honourable Lord Justice Floyd at the Court of Appeal in London.

James has also gained experience at a number of international law firms in the City, assisting on various high-profile and multi-jurisdictional corporate and financial institution litigation matters.
