Position

Ruihan has a broad practice across Chambers’ profile, including commercial litigation, banking and finance, energy and arbitration. Before transferring to the Bar, she practised as a solicitor at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP in London, where she worked on business and human rights-related group actions in the English Court, and LCIA and ICC arbitrations. She has appeared as sole counsel in the High Court and County Court.

Her recent work includes:

  • Acting in an LCIA arbitration concerning a USD 100 million contractual claim arising out of the LNG supply chain of a South Asian country
  • Acting in a USD 136 million Commercial Court claim arising from an M&A transaction
  • Acting in a Commercial Court dispute concerning equity derivatives and Russia-related sanctionsAdvising on shareholder and contempt proceedings before the BVI courts
