Scott Gardiner promoted to partner
1 July 2026 - We are pleased to announce the promotion of Scott Gardiner to partner on 1 July 2026.
Scott, a UK Chartered Trade Mark Attorney based in the J A Kemp Oxford office, joined from another leading IP firm as a trainee in 2014. After qualifying, he spent some time in practice in the Middle East, returning to J A Kemp in 2021.
Scott’s international outlook is particularly valuable to clients managing global portfolios or those involved in multi-jurisdictional disputes. Scott advises clients on all aspects of trade mark clearance, filing, prosecution and enforcement. He is experienced in handling oppositions, cancellations and infringement proceedings, and is known for delivering clear, commercially focused advice. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys and the INTA Young Practitioners Committee, and regularly attends trade mark conferences in the UK and overseas.
