Pilar Ay focuses on representing venture capital investors and emerging growth companies through the corporate life cycle across a range of industries, with a particular focus on the technology sector.

Pilar advises emerging growth companies from formation to exit, regularly representing them in their venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and general corporate counseling.  Pilar’s experience includes representing companies in cross-border transactions, with a particular focus on companies and investors based in Latin America seeking to expand to the United States.

She also works with venture funds and corporate innovation units to manage legal and business issues that arise across their portfolio. She has extensive experience working with angel investors, venture capital funds, private equity funds, and other institutional investors in their portfolio investments and transactions.
