Augusto is a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires Law School (2006). He completed a postgraduate degree in Tax Law at Austral University (2008). His practice covers advice and litigation in national, provincial, and municipal taxes, advice and defense in criminal tax, customs, and exchange matters, and national and international tax planning.​

His practice takes a dynamic and comprehensive approach to tax, customs, foreign exchange, and foreign trade matters, with extensive knowledge and experience in criminal tax, criminal foreign exchange, and customs violations. Extensive and in-depth knowledge of regulations and broad experience with tax collection agencies and courts enable a pragmatic and efficient approach to advising and resolving conflicts. ​

For more than 18 years, he has participated in the planning and structuring of major investment projects, M&A, and restructurings in all sectors of industry and commerce. ​

Augusto has extensive experience in dealing with various government authorities, such as the Department of Taxes and Customs. ​

He advises a wide range of local and multinational companies such as Vivendi, Frist Data, Ecolab, Newell, The Carlyle Group, Saude Animal, Walá, Wenance, among others.Highly relevant to this transaction, Augusto has extensive experience advising companies in the technology sector (Allata, Hotmart, and Life Sciences sector (BMS, Cevasa, Farmabase, among others), including in M&A processes, and has a deep understanding of market practices. He also understands the real risks and potential contingencies in the industry, which is key to bringing a transaction to closing.
