Colm is a partner in Dentons' Projects practice group with expertise in structuring and delivering energy projects worldwide. He represents sponsors, governments, lenders, export credit agencies and investors, guiding them through the development, financing, acquisition and sale of large-scale, complex energy projects. He is particularly known for his work in emerging markets, advising on several award-winning, first-in-kind projects in Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Colm's experience spans thermal and renewable power, energy transition (in particular green fuels), LNG, refining, petrochemicals, mining, desalination and transport infrastructure projects.

He is regarded by legal directories as one of the leading up-and-coming international projects partners. He is ranked as "Next Generation Partner" for Emerging Markets in Legal 500 (UK) 2025 and "Associate to Watch" for Projects (UK-wide) in Chambers (UK) 2022.
