Position

Karim Kobaissy is an associate in the Corporate practice in Dentons' Dubai office. He has eight years of experience advising on a wide range of corporate, M&A and capital markets transactions, including public and private M&A transactions, IPOs and direct listings, corporate governance, corporate restructurings, international joint ventures, start-ups, venture capital and fintech. His experience spans a broad range of sectors including equity capital markets, private and public M&A, energy, oil and gas, financial services and technology.

Karim's capital markets experience includes advising public and private issuers and investment banks on a broad range of capital markets transactions including equity offerings (IPOs and secondary offerings) and rights issues. He also regularly advises companies and their boards on listing requirements, securities, corporate governance matters and reporting obligations.

Karim has worked on several landmark transactions in the Middle East, including major IPOs, listings and high-value cross-border acquisitions, and has completed a secondment to the State of Qatar's Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, advising on corporate legal matters relating to the organization of the FIFA 2022 World Cup.
