Luis Belart is a partner in Dentons’ Banking and Finance practice in Spain.

Luis has 20 years of experience advising lenders, corporates, investment funds and sponsors on structured finance transactions.

Luis specializes in local and international structure finance transactions, in particular export finance, project finance (infra, oil & gas and renewable energy sources) asset finance (aircraft and shipping), trade finance, real estate finance, refinancing and debt restructuring, acquisition finance (LBOs) and pre-insolvency situations, as well as liquidity instruments (factoring, discounting, RPAs, etc.).

Luis holds a double degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and in International Business Administration from the European Business School in Madrid, New York and Paris.

He also holds an MBA from the IESE Business School in Barcelona (University of Navarra).
