Tax and Customs practice

Alexei Matveev is a counsel in Dentons’ Russian Tax and Customs practice. Alexei focuses on international and Russian tax law. He has extensive experience advising on the organization and conduct of tax due diligence of a transaction target taking into account possible specific industrial/operating risks, developing proposals on how to structure transactions (including foreign jurisdictions), analyzing the tax implications of sale and purchase agreements and developing proposals to carry out corporate restructuring of the target, as well as analyzing whether the tax assumptions of transactions’ financial models are correct.
