Jordi van Borssum Waalkes is a counsel in Dentons’ Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Within his practice group, Jordi focuses on corporate litigation involving shareholders, directors and other stakeholders of the company as well as commercial litigation and arbitration arising from commercial contracts.

A substantial part of Jordi’s practice consists of ‘post-closing disputes’ in which he represents purchasers with claims based on (warranty) breaches and sellers with earn-out claims. Jordi also frequently advises on directors’ liability in and outside the context of bankruptcy.

By adopting a calm and calculated strategy, Jordi navigates his clients through complex corporate disputes and provides his clients with practical advice on how to deal with actual or contingent liabilities. Jordi’s clients benefit not only from his vast experience as a litigator, but also as a (past) transactional lawyer with excellent drafting skills.
