Career

Jacqueline is a partner in the global Banking and Finance practice and is current head of the Europe Transportation and Infrastructure Sector group, with a specialist focus on development and impact finance, trade commodity finance and asset finance.

Jacqueline joined the partnership at Dentons from a position as a successful freelancer, where her work involved the first commercial aviation financing in Myanmar. Since joining Dentons, Jacqueline’s sustainable finance and energy practice has blossomed from microfinance and restorative agricultural projects and expanded into renewables and access to energy, including several secured solar and wind infrastructure financings across Africa and SE Asia. Jacqueline is currently working on a borrowing base facility financing the trade of agricultural crops across 18+ jurisdictions and the financing of coconut farms across Indonesia. Jacqueline has travelled to Norway twice in the last year to join discussions on how multinationals and development finance institutions can mobilise to finance the rebuild of Ukraine.

Jacqueline has extensive in-house experience spent at the Dutch development bank FMO, at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. where she implemented the bank’s credit risk insurance programme, and as general counsel to an investment fund.

Due to Jacqueline’s expertise in the emerging markets, Jacqueline is consistently recognised by Chambers Global as being a Banking & Finance Foreign Expert – UK, is a ILFR1000 Highly Regarded Lawyer and as a Next Generation Partner by Legal500 EMEA.
