Chiara Bocchi is a counsel based in Dentons’ Milan office and a member of the global Intellectual Property, Data and Technology.

Chiara assists national and multinational clients active in a number of different sectors including ICT, media, telecommunication, fashion, retail, e-commerce, advertising, banking and insurance. She advises on technology, media and telecommunications matters, including in connection with artificial intelligence, digital transformation projects, and the regulation of online platforms.

She has developed solid experience in the drafting and negotiating of commercial contracts – including service, supply and sub-supply, franchising, logistics and transportation agreements – as well as technology contracts, including software development and licensing agreements, IT outsourcing contracts, cloud, SaaS, system integration, ERP and CRM systems, open-source software, and agreements supporting the development and deployment of artificial intelligence systems.

She also advises on data protection and data governance in relation to complex and multijurisdictional projects involving the use of advanced technologies and innovative data processing activities, such as artificial intelligence systems, automated decision-making processes, profiling activities, international data transfers, data sharing and data altruism.

She holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) certification issues by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
