Of Counsel

János Matuz is an of counsel in Dentons’ Budapest office. He is a highly experienced legal professional and strategic consultant with an impressive track record spanning over 20 years in the field of legal and management counselling for large R&D companies, VCs, PEs, startups, spinoffs, universities and research institutions—mainly in the life science and IT sectors. He has been dealing with technology transfer, innovation management and the development and improvement of clusters for some 20 years.

János led the preparation, implementation and monitoring phase of several projects financed by national, EU or Swiss contribution funds, both on behalf of the beneficiaries as well as the authorities.

János started his career as an associate at the Budapest office of Dentons. He then went on to work for a strategic consulting firm for 10 years and supported energy and engineering companies as an in-house legal counsel.
