A partner based in Dentons’ Montréal office, Virginie Dandurand’s practice encompasses all aspects of employment and labour law.

She represents, defends and provides advice to unionized and non-unionized employers on a variety of complex employment matters, including human rights, employment standards, employee complaints, corporate restructurings and acquisitions, downsizings, interpretation, application and enforcement of restrictive covenants as well as performance and absenteeism management. She represents and acts for clients under federal or provincial jurisdiction, notably in the insurance, aviation, automotive, communications, advertising, consulting and retail sectors.

Virginie provides strategic advice to clients, both in the context of the daily management of their workforce and of major commercial transactions, on both the seller's and the buyer's side. She advises clients on all aspects of their working relationship and represents them before civil court or administrative tribunals.  Over the years, Virginie has developed an expertise in harassment in the workplace, as well as strategic advice in the hiring and termination of (“C-suite”) or senior executives. She is also frequently called upon to give lectures and training sessions on various employment law topics.

Her pragmatic, practical and strategic approach makes Virginie a trusted advisor to her clients.
