Partner

Claude Morency is a partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group of Dentons’ Montréal office. His practice focuses on corporate, commercial and construction litigation.

Claude has extensive knowledge and experience in managing and conducting large-scale litigation before arbitral or judicial courts. In construction law, Claude has represented parties involved in litigation where tens or hundreds of millions of dollars were at stake and raising very complex technical evidence issues. In commercial matters, Claude works mainly on shareholder law matters and contractual disputes. Claude also has experience defending parties involved in investigation processes, including a public inquiry commission, as well as in statutory criminal matters.

Claude served as managing partner for the Montréal office for 14 years, from 2007 to 2021, and he is now a member of the Canada Region Board.
