Senior Associate

Ewoud Hacke is a senior associate of the Public Law and Regulatory practice in Brussels, registered with the Brussels Bar.

He brings over 10 years of experience in various roles across the public and private sectors and specializes in public procurement law, concession contracts, PPPs, and other government investments. Ewoud regularly represents clients before administrative courts and the Belgian Council of State. In addition, he delivers numerous trainings each year and is a highly sought-after speaker at major seminars and events on public law and public contracts.

Ewoud advises medium to large public entities on the awarding and closure of contracts and has supported the successful conclusion of major agreements for prominent government organizations in strategic sectors. He also counsels private sector clients on the negotiation and execution of public contracts, including those in IT, construction, and the not-for-profit sector, such as education and healthcare.

Before joining Dentons, Ewoud built extensive professional experience as a strategic buyer and department head for various government organizations, where he managed numerous public tenders from initiation through contract completion. He then worked as a senior consultant in public procurement and as Head of Consulting and Seminars at a leading public procurement consultancy firm in Brussels. Subsequently, Ewoud joined Tender Law, a Belgian law firm specializing in government contracts, as a lead lawyer.

Ewoud has graduated from KU Leuven and Ghent University.
